The Why:
I started shooting boudoir in January of 2022 when an upcoming bride of mine asked if I did these types of sessions - the short answer was no, but goodness gracious did I want to learn. I rented an Airbnb in Pittsburgh, and decided to host a boudoir mini day that same weekend. To my complete and total surprise, they sold out.
What I quickly discovered that weekend was how healing of an experience these sessions tend to be. As someone that has always struggled with body image issues, it is such an honor to lift women up in a way that hits close to home for many. After spending nearly a year and a half renting a studio in the Pittsburgh area, I realized that I was ready to make the jump and open a studio of my own in spring of 2023.
Allowing you to see your individual beauty is something I will never take for granted - and I can't wait to show you just how stunning you are, inside and out.
The Studio || Butler, Pennsylvania
All boudoir shoots will take place in my newly-renovated studio in downtown Butler, PA. The vibe is minimalist-meets-antique, with the goal being to keep your pretty self as the focal point in every photo we take.

I met Mikaela in fall of 2021 - her and her boyfriend (now fiancé!) signed up for a mini session on a chilly November morning at Moraine State Park. I remember leaving photos thinking to myself, "I wanna be friends with that girl."
After hanging out a few times after meeting, fast forward to the end of 2022: I asked Mikaela to cut my hair a few weeks before Christmas (the only haircut I was obsessed with and didn't cry over after leaving the chair, for the record). I left feeling so beautiful and knew that I never wanted anyone else to do my hair - and I know so many people feel the same way.
When I opened my studio in May of 2023, there was no one else that I trusted more to make my clients feel as beautiful as Mikaela does. Not only is her talent unmatched when it comes to hair and make-up, but her demeanor is everything - you walk away feeling like you've known her for years. My top piece of advice to girls that inquire is, if your budget allows, add hair and/or make-up to your session. You won't regret it.
When she isn't behind the chair making someone look ridiculously hot, you can find her out in the country living her best cowgirl life with her husband, Ben, and their fur babies Peaches, Dolly, and JJ.
And rest assured, after your session her and I will be at Applebee's talking about how good you looked for your photos. :-)

How It Works:
Step 01
|| REACH OUT ||
Submit a contact form, and we'll start chatting about scheduling your session! I am currently taking boudoir sessions on Mondays-Thursdays (mornings, afternoons, and evenings), as well as Friday mornings!
Step 02
|| PREP ||
Once your contract is signed and your retainer is paid, it's time to plan! Go shopping, and don't be afraid to text me if you need an opinion on any of the pieces you want to wear - I want you to feel your best, and will be honest with you about what'll work well for your session!
Step 03
|| SHOOT DAY ||
We'll meet at the studio, talk through all of the outfits you brought, and then we'll get started! I'm all about providing as much posing guidance as possible, so don't worry about feeling alone or lost - I'll be with you every step of the way!
Step 04
|| REVEAL DAY ||
No later than a month after your session date, I'll send you a gallery of ALL of the photos from your session, fully edited, in a private viewing gallery. You'll pick your favorites (quantity will be in accordance with the package you selected), and I'll release them for download. If you wish to purchase more digitals, I offer upgrades to your package to include more photos!
