Comfort over absolutely everything.
Most people don't have their photo taken every day - and it may feel like the most unnatural thing in the world. I remember being SO nervous for my own engagement photos, because I wasn't sure what to expect. After photographing countless couples, families, and weddings, I can promise you that nerves are normal!
The most consistent feedback I get from the people I work with is that I make them feel comfortable when shooting. And that's always a goal of mine during your session - I want you to feel like you're hanging out with an old friend for an hour, not having your photo taken.
